Most mobile phone makers are targeting on the mid and upper range Android mobile phones whilst South Korean manufacturer Samsung has shown a possibility of launching affordable Android based devices early next year.A senior official said at the launch of its eco friendly range of phones that Samsung is likely to come up with "sub $100" Android handsets in 2010. Besides, with its running Android mobile, it will be equipped with more features like a web browser, you would wish to have from a phone.
Although the news has been hinted out, it is still not clear as to whether the news is true, as there is doubt regarding what the official said and if he meant the company was looking at cheaper android devices from other manufacturers as well. The Android OS has been witnessing overwhelming patronage from people and is certainly going to become a big player in the highly competitive OS wars of smart phones.
