Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., a leading mobile phone provider, today announced the market expansion of the Omnia II (model name: I8000), an all-in-one Smartphone based on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.
Launched on July 15 in Singapore, where its predecessor Omnia was unveiled last year, the Samsung Omnia II is in great demand by eagerly awaiting fans. The Samsung Omnia II began selling in other Asian countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam in July, and will be launched in over twenty further countries during August, including The Netherlands, China, Australia, Turkey and The United Arab Emirates.
Armed with the latest technology including an ultra fast 800MHz application processor, crystal-clear WVGA AMOLED display and more, the Omnia II enhances Samsung's reputation in the growing Smartphone market.
