Dell Venue has made an appearance on Dell`s India website. It is powered by the Google Android 2.2 Froyo. The phenomenal surfacing of the Venue makes it appear like it has taken off from the Dell Venue Pro that runs Microsoft Windows Phone 7 Mobile OS. The easy mechanism brings in some amount of excitement to that part of the world.
The Dell Venue sports a 4.1 inch screen and the device has been touted as an innovative device with a 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 microprocessor. The PC Syncing Software is also worthy of appreciation. The WVGA AMOLED properties add to the appeal of the Dell Venue.
The entry of the Dell Venue device onto the Indian shores comes as a surprise as no one expected the device to sail into the Indian shores so soon. Although listed on the Dell India site, there has been no mention on the pricing yet. The expected price of the Dell Venue is Rs 30,000.
Among other highlights is the glass spruced up with Gorilla Glass technology, 800×480 pixel resolution and a 1GB on-board storage. It can be further pushed up to 32GB by way of a micro SD card which makes it all the more interesting. What`s more, The Dell Venue has a1400mAh battery that powers the device for more than 4.5 hours at one go. Dell, it is understood, is first testing Asia before it can officially launch it in the US and European markets.
