Nokia 3720 Classic: Rugged Mobile Phone Officially Launched

Nokia launches the rugged 3720 mobile phone, a part of the classic series. It is in a streamline candy bar form and is IP-54 certified. The mobile phone is designed to be resistant to water, dust and shock. Nokia 3720 mobile phone is encased in long lasting materials and is completely sealed to safeguard the inner electronics.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Markku Suomi, vice president, connect devices said "Whether using it at the beach or in a dusty construction site, the Nokia 3720 classic has been specifically engineered to withstand the splashes, bumps and drops that come with the terrain." "The Nokia 3720 is tough on the outside and functional on the inside and is a perfect choice for people that look for long lasting and dependable mobile phone for any type of environment".

The main features of the Nokia 3720 include 2.2 inch TFT LCD, LED flashlight, Micro SD card support, Nokia maps, GPRS/EDGE and Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and USB 2.0 micro. Nokia 3720 rugged mobile is equipped with a 2 MP camera with LED flash. There is a stereo FM radio with RDS and 2.5mm hands free socket.

This user friendly mobile phone is set to enthrall Nokia fans worldwide. This is a handy phone that can be used without a worry in all types of environment.

The Nokia 3720 rugged mobile is expected to retail for approximately Rs. 8,520 (EUR 125) before subsidies or taxes. If it launches here now, it'll have Samsung's B1200 to contend with but I'm sure we'll agree that this is the perfect season for it.
