Samsung Marine (B2100) is Samsung's first outdoor mobile phone to be launched in India. The phone was showcased at Communicasia and it incorporates numerous outdoor features like durability and stylish design. This is the newest submersible phone and with its launch Samsung is seeking to create a whole new segment in the Indian mobile phone market.Mr. Sunil Dutt, County Head for Samsung Mobile Division said "Samsung Marine is the perfect companion for consumers who enjoy active outdoor activities." The all new Samsung Marine is encased in anti-shock urethane material and built to withstand bumps, scrapes and bangs and made to last longer. It features the IP57 certification and provides excellent outdoor mobile experience. It also offers dust and water protection.
What's more, Samsung Marine is adaptable for the toughest environment like rain, fog, humidity, sand and extremely hot and cold temperatures. It is tested under the specifications by the US Department of Defence with Military Standard 810F (MIL-STD-810F).
The other features in Samsung Marine include external speakers, noise cancellation, flash light, built-in camera, FM radio, music player and camcorder. It has an expandable memory of up to 8GB. Samsung Marine is priced at Rs. 7,030 /- and is available in red and green colors.
