Samsung Jet supports latest smart phone features like multi-task manager and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. It is equipped with a more convenient user interface resulting due to more streamlined push e-mail, especially for business users.
The other features include 3.1 WVGA, AMOLED touchscreen display, 3D like UI with multiple desktops with Motion UI, 5 megapixel AF camera with Dual LEDs, Media Gate 3D and Multi-tasking manager, and 800 MHz application processor.
Face and blink detection, smile shot and Geotagging are enabled with the Samsung Jet. Samsung Jet is equipped with Samsung's DNSe sound engine and SRS WOW sound effects for audio. The phone is equipped with a 3.5 mm earphone socket.
There is option for DivX and XviD video playback. It has Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, Micro USB and 3G with HSDPA, EDGE/GPRS and Wi-Fi.
The latest TouchWiz 2.0 user interface incorporates motion UI, a customizable widget screen and a smart unlock. The all new Samsung Dolfin internet browser improves the internet experience in the mobile and allows users to view up to five web pages at the same time and bookmark their most favorite websites as widgets.
The other features included are an in-built ad-blocker, background downloading feature and address field for multipurpose contact maintenance. This further enhances the experience with Dolfin's one of a kind, finger zoom which allows users to zoom in and out of web pages using a single hand.
This is an improvement from the multi-touch zoom technology which made us of two fingers and two hands. The Samsung Jet gives the users the convenience of easy portability and a brand new concept of single finger zoom. This enables the 'one hand operation' of the zoom feature. This may be used for photo browser, internet browser and file viewer to view TXT,PDF and PPT files in a magnified effect of four times the size- all this, is enabled with one finger tip while the user in on the move.
