LG KP199 Mobile India: Reviews, Features, Specifications

LG KP199 is a very basic handset which is likely to deliver 10h of talk-time. The battery is just one of the aspects. LG KP199 is a simple looking mobile phone which manages to boast a chic style laced with shiny chrome border in font.

The keypad is large and user friendly with a five way navigation pad. The LG mobile KP119 is equipped with 1.7-inch TFT LCD with a 128 x 160 pixel resolution and 256k colors. These are clearly visible under direct sunlight.

The LG KP199 is neither a slim mobile phone nor is it bulky. The volume and zoom control keys are situated on one side above the hot-swap microSD card slot. The opposite side of the phone has a proprietary one-slot-for all port with handsfree option and a charger. LG KP199 is equipped with a VGA camera.

The 16.5mm depth certainly does not make much of a difference as there is a feel good factor to the phone. Besides, the LG KP199 employs a 'Talking Phone' feature that will read out numbers when dialing and call out the number for incoming calls. It can also be set to call out the time every hour.

The music player is accompanied by 8 EQ presets which help enhance the audio experience a little. The bass was a wee bit off but overall the music experience was not bad. The decibel level was quite good. The LG KP199 can read MP3, eAAC+, WMA and WMV, AMR file formats.
