The Samsung U700 is a high end mobile phone from the Korean mobile manufacturing giant. The handset is a part of its latest Ultra Edition II, and the handset is called Ultra Edition 12.1 – which is named after the thickness of the device. Other models from the same series includes Samsung U100, Samsung U300 and the Samsung U600. The Samsung U700 is currently the top model for Ultra Edition II line up, with embedded 3.5G technology as well as a top of the line, 3.2 megapixel camera module. The handset is meticulously designed with hidden mirror effect to conceal its 2.2 inch large TFT based screen when the handset is in standby mode.
The handset sports a plain, clutter free front that makes a statement about its owner's class and style. The handset's built in browser – NetFront 3.4 is compatible with WAP 2.0, xHTML and HTML pages, thus giving you an edge over many other mobile phone browser. In absence of 3G network, the Samsung U700 uses built in GPRS and EDGE technology to give you seamless data connectivity any time you want.
